Our Story
Being a father and son decorating business for many years, we noticed a huge void of information and products available in the sustainable area of our industry. In our experience the products that are available are rarely used. We found there was a huge misinterpretation of the ‘eco-friendly’ product to the reality and we saw on a daily basis the waste and the amount of chemicals that go into our line of work which can affect our health and the environment.
Our aim is to fill this void by providing correct information and sharing our hand-picked products that can make a difference, one room at a time……
The Paint Paper Scissors idea started from a conversation in the van whilst waiting for paint to dry (if you excuse the pun). From this conversation an idea and vision formed with our whole family helping every step of the way. Our passion for our work stems from wanting to make a difference and a change to everyday life. We want to offer exceptional paints and wallpapers that will allow people to express themselves.
Our vision:
- To create the option for people to choose great paints and wallpaper while still being sustainable. We feel this isn't accessible and we are on a mission to change that.
- We are connecting products with people, sharing information on our products. From which ingredients make them sustainable to the various finishes available.
- We aim for people to feel comfortable with us and to give advice while choosing their décor without hurting the planet.
